Gap Year Information
Deciding to take a gap year is a popular option for many students. Policies about applying and deferrals vary from PSI to PSI. Some PSI's allow deferrals. Other PSI's do not. Some PSI's may grant a deferral, but request that you re-apply after your gap year nonetheless (and pay all the associated application fees again), so they can ensure that your application and personal information is up to date. It may be easier to apply once, halfway through your gap year. It is important for you to take some time to connect with the PSI's you are considering, to know what the procedure is for admissions.
